Fiji beat Australia in the Olympic Rugby Sevens quarterfinals to join the best four with New Zealand, Great Britain and Argentina. Two tries by captain Jerry Tuwai inspired the Flying Fijians to a 19-0 victory at the Tokyo Stadium.
In another quarterfinals, Argentina stunned South Africa with a 19-14 victory to reach the semifinals. After topping Pool C with 3 wins, the Blitzboks suffered their first defeat in Tokyo to the Los Pumas.
New Zealand beat Canada 21-10 and Great Britain edged USA 26-21 in the other quarterfinals. Argentina will face Fiji, and Great Britain will play against New Zealand in the semifinals tomorrow.
