RHINOZ WARRIORS: FROM SETBACKS TO COMEBACKS

The 2025 Selangor Rugby League season kicked off with Rhinoz Warriors facing an uphill battle. Before a ball was even kicked, the club lost two key players from last season. Then came another blow, two of their current stars were slapped with a two-year suspension. To add to the adversity, they suffered a narrow 7-10 defeat in the opening match to SMS Oldboys.

But Warriors don’t fold, they fight.

Rhinoz Warriors bounced back in spectacular fashion with three straight wins, including a stunning 50-12 victory over KL Tigers despite missing five important first-team players. The team has scored a total of 137 points in just four matches, with 18 players making it onto the scoreboard. A proof of their unity, depth, and determination.

Their recent 32-17 triumph over SMS Oldboys was a powerful statement of redemption, turning past heartbreak into fuel for a commanding victory. It showcased not just their strength, but the unshakable spirit driving this incredible team forward.

President Bob Musli and the management team deserves immense credit for keeping morale high and belief alive through all the early setbacks. His leadership has been the backbone of this revival.

The Rhinoz Warriors are no longer just contenders. They’re a brotherhood with a dream. Every player is giving their all, not for personal glory, but for the badge, the club, and the future.
