William Stubbings emerged as the tournament’s top men’s try scorer with seven. Malaysia claimed bronze, defeating China 19-7.
In the Women’s U20 category, China captured the title after edging Hong Kong 29-21 in a thrilling final. Sophie Aranha from Hong Kong shone as the top women’s try scorer with eight. China reached the final by beating India 28-7, while Hong Kong overcame Uzbekistan 24-5. India took bronze with a 12-5 win over Uzbekistan.
