The first-ever AST 10s Rugby Tournament brought high energy and pure Johor pride to Mt Austin, Johor Bahru, as 16 teams battled through 36 action-packed matches. The tournament blended experience and youth seamlessly, with experienced players leading the charge while many young talents seized the spotlight and impressed.

In the Cup Final, Wildcats JR from Pasir Gudang claimed the historic first title after a disciplined 7–0 win over Kasih Sayang Rugby Club (KSRC) of Johor Bahru. Guided by head coach Atos, Wildcats struck early and protected their lead with resolute defence, showcasing maturity beyond their years.

KSRC pushed hard throughout but found no way through the Wildcats’ structure. Both finalists had survived tight semifinals, with Wildcat Jr edging Caracal Rugby Club 5–0, while KSRC shut out BPVCOBA by the same score.

The third-place playoff ended evenly, with BPVCOBA (Batu Pahat Vocational Old Boys) and Caracal RC of Kota Tinggi sharing honours after a 5–5 draw.

In the Plate Final, PG Ronin delivered a commanding 24–0 victory over Hobbit RC, capping an impressive outing.

Spectators were treated to exciting rugby from start to finish, and the smooth, passionate organisation by Arie Sport Taping ensured the inaugural AST 10s made a strong, memorable debut.
