We’ve reached the halfway mark of the Super Rugby season, and it’s delivering everything fans could ask for. Big hits, breakout stars, and a ladder so tight it could flip in a single weekend.
Top of the table despite playing one game less, the Hurricanes are setting the pace with 264 points in six matches. Fehi Fineanganofo has been unstoppable with nine tries and 14 clean breaks, while Billy Proctor, Callum Harkin and Josh Moorby are firing on all cylinders.
Level on points with the leaders but sitting second, the Blues boast a massive +95 points difference from seven games. Caleb Clarke continues to shine, while Beauden Barrett leads scoring with 37 points. Dalton Papali'i, Josh Beehre and Sam Darry add serious firepower.
Just two points off the summit, the Chiefs are right in the hunt. Samisoni Taukei'aho leads with six tries, while Quinn Tupaea has been a wrecking ball in attack. Damian McKenzie, Luke Jacobson and Josh Jacomb keep the Chiefs ticking.
Fourth place with four wins and three losses, the Brumbies remain consistent contenders. Charlie Cale leads the try count with nine, while Ryan Lonergan has added 57 crucial points. Rob Valetini, Rory Scott and Andy Muirhead remain key pillars.
Lurking just one point behind, the Crusaders are quietly building momentum. Codie Taylor and Sevu Reece have combined for nine tries, while Will Jordan, Chay Fihaki, Ethan Blackadder and Leicester Fainga'anuku keep them dangerous.
Sixth but far from out of it, the Reds continue to impress with balance and grit. Jock Campbell, Fraser McReight and Filipo Daugunu are leading the charge.
Seventh with three wins, the Waratahs are unpredictable but dangerous. Max Jorgensen has been their standout performer, with Sid Harvey also making a strong impact.
Eighth place but packed with talent, the Highlanders are staying competitive. TK Howden leads defensively, while Timoci Tavatavanawai, Jona Nareki, Cameron Millar and Caleb Tangitau continue to deliver.
Ninth place but still fighting hard, with Ben Donaldson leading scoring with 66 points. Franco Molina, Darby Lancaster and Vaiolini Ekuasi provide energy and power.
Tenth but fearless, highlighted by a stunning win over the Hurricanes. Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula, Elia Canakaivata and Ilaisa Droasese continue to excite fans.
Eleventh place with just one win, but plenty of heart. Tevita Ofa and Allan Craig are standout performers as they build for the future.
With points shared, momentum shifting weekly, and stars rising across every team, this Super Rugby season is beautifully unpredictable. The second half? Expect fireworks.
