HYDERABAD HEROES AND DELHI REDZ REIGN SUPREME


The HSBC Rugby Premier League delivered another unforgettable season, proving that rugby in India is growing faster than ever. With a thrilling men's finale and a historic inaugural women's competition, the league reached exciting new heights and showcased the country's bright future in the sport.

The men's competition concluded in spectacular fashion as the Hyderabad Heroes thrilled their home supporters by defeating the Mumbai Dreamers to lift the Season 2 title. Building on a successful debut season, the league featured 84 players, including 54 international stars from 20 nations and 25 Olympians, competing alongside India's best talent. Mumbai Dreamers' remarkable rise from a difficult inaugural campaign to this year's final highlighted the league's growing competitiveness. Vuiviwa Naduvalo was named HSBC Player of the Tournament, while Jugal Majhi and Sumit Kumar Roy received individual honours.


History was also created as the inaugural women's competition crowned its first-ever champions. Delhi RedZ defeated the Chennai Bulls 22-10 in a commanding final to write their names into Indian rugby history.

The groundbreaking tournament featured 51 players, including 24 international stars and 10 Olympians, giving Indian players the opportunity to learn from world-class coaches and compete at the highest level. Outstanding performances from Savannah Bauder, Amandeep Kaur, Shikha Yadav and Guriya Kumari reflected the rapid rise of women's rugby in India.

With another successful men's season and a landmark debut for the women's competition, the HSBC Rugby Premier League has firmly established itself as a powerful platform for developing talent, inspiring future generations, and transforming the rugby landscape in India.
